Tough Love time - you are Such a beginner - again!Running is one of those things that doesn't forgive you for taking time away like a few other sports can.

I always think that your aerobic tolerance, your ability to breathe well whilst exercising goes really quickly even though you may have muscle tone and capability still there.

At least you can rationalise why you felt the run went badly and try to fix it next time. The heat issue just sounds like you're aclimatising again.

At the end of the day the main point is - you got out and did it. And that alone I think is the best thing in the world. Well done! So glad to hear you're back.
