Isn't that odd? I wonder if that's the natural ebb and flow of running? I never thought I'd be so lackadaisical about it, but at this point I'm not sure if and when I want to run distance again. I talk myself out of runs a lot, and I really DON'T want to do long runs at all. The main reason I'm running now is for the weight, not for running, or speed, or distance. AT LEAST you are still doing 20 milers - that's amazing! How are those going with a decrease in regular daily mileage? My regular daily mileage is so slow, now, it's unbelievable that I've regressed by about a year and a half.

A Run Through Redlands - the first half is major hills, second half all down. I'm totally just running it for fun, and to get my butt out the door! No distance training, no hill training. But still, I think it will be nice. I think all my time goals are down the toilet for now, and I want to just run races for the fun of it. How odd, I never thought I'd say that, ever.

You'd probably do great at the Redlands half right now, if you're still doing 20 milers! You still training for LA in May?
